Comedian/actor Monique recently appeared on Los Angeles news outlet KTLA, to touch on a variety of subjects, one of which being the cancellation of Rosanne Bar’s show, Rosanne. The show was cancelled after Rosanne tweeted some racist remarks about Obama White House Advisor Valerie Jarrett, comparing her to an ape.

Monique came to the defense of her “sister in comedy” by stating that the tweet was a “mistake”, and that we should not be so quick to “throw her away”. She says she knows the tweet is something that Rosanne wishes she could take back. Monique also adds that she would like to see Rosanne and Valerie come together.
