No stranger to catchy summer anthems, LA rapper Tyga is back with another one. After its official release just last month, his summer single “Taste” feauturing Offset of the Migos, has already been certified platinum by the RIAA (Recording Institute of America).

According to the RIAA, “Taste” was released on May 16th, and was already gold by July 10th. Just two weeks later on July 24th, the single was certified platinum. The song’s steady rise can be attributed to its simple, but catchy, feel-good summer vibe. Whether you’re riding down the street with your top down, or at an epic pool party, “Taste” is sure to make it’s way into the rotation, so there’s no surprised it has reached platinum status.
