J. Cole Gets Emotional During Mac Miller Tribute

Over the past few days, millions of people have been mourning hip-hop artist Mac Miller, who passed away due to a drug overdose on September 7th. Since Mac was a rapper, of course his passing hit the hip-hop community the hardest. Many took to social media to express their grief and celebrate the music and life of Miller. One of the many who wanted to express their feelings about Mac Miller’s passing was J. Cole. He decided to dedicate a perfomance to Mac, and even shed some tears during the tribute.

During the touching performance, J. Cole discusses the importance of addressing mental health concerns. He also talks about the dangers of using drugs to cope with problems. The subjects he was speaking on were so personal to him, that Cole eventually shed some tears. The tribute proved to be an excellent means of celebrating Mac Miller’s life, as well as bringing awareness to problems that plague the hip-hop community.
