Chris Brown is facing two criminal charges after he allegedly bought a baby capuchin monkey without a permit last year. Many assumed the monkey belonged to Breezy because he posted a video of his daughter Royalty playing with the animal. Now, Breezy is saying he was not the rightful owner of the chimp named Fiji.

Chris insits that the video of Royalty was filmed at the owner’s home in Las Vegas and not at his Los Angeles home. Fiji was in Chris’ possesion when the police confiscated him, but Chris still denies owership. He says it was coincidence that the relative who owns Fiji was visiting him at the time.

If convicted, the CB faces up to six months in jail. Brown is due to see the judge on February 6th where he can plead his case.
