Rap legend DMX is currently incarcerated, but will be back in the free world sooner than later. His attorney Murray Richman announced he will be released from Gilmer Federal Correctional Institution on January 27.

Once released, X is planning to reconnect with his 15 children and jump back into music career. He is reportedly very excited to see his two-year-old son Exodus Simmons, who’s has been battling severe health issues.

During his 12-month sentence for tax evasion, X has been writing songs, and will drop an album upon his release. He is also entertaining offers from producers who want to create a biopic about his life.
