Beyonce & Jay-Z Perform At Global Citizen Festival In Johannesburg, South Africa

On Sunday December 2nd, Beyonce and Jay-Z graced the stage at the 2018 Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg South Africa.
The power couple kept the audience captivated with some of their biggest hits. They performed fan favorites like “Niggas in Paris,” “03 Bonnie and Clyde,” “Drunk in Love,” and “Hero”. They also perfromed “Empire State of Mind,” “Run the World (Girls),” “Formation,” new hit “Ape Shit” and more.
Pharrell, Usher, Wizkid, Femi Kuti, Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin of Coldplay and more also touched the stage at the massive festival.
The South Africa edition of the Global Citizen festival is called the “Mandela 100,” to commemorate the 100 years since Nelson Mandela’s birth. Its mission is to raise $1 billion for causes such as “ending hunger and increasing access to good nutrition, ending neglected tropical diseases, reducing HIV transmission rates” and more.
