6lack Drops Freestyle Over Travis Scott's "Coffee Bean"

Grammy nominated, singer/rapper 6lack has been building up his album buzz with features and singles throughout the last few months. In anticipation for his upcoming album East Atlanta Love Letter, 6lack decided to build his buzz even more by freestyling over Travis Scott’s “Coffee Bean” instrumental.

Initially, media legend Sway challenged the Atlanta rapper to freestyle over a song of his choosing. 6lack recognizes the instrumental, and proceeds to go in. He even name drops Nicki Minaj in one of his bars. “It only take a couple bars for me to warm up, show up, show out/All over the place like a Nicki M. rollout”. The rapper references the questionable promotion tactics Nicki used for her latest album, Queen.

After the playful jab at Nicki, 6lack continues to go in over the beat. After clip of video dropped online, he then posted the full video of the freestyle to his Twitter account. Check out the entire “Coffee Bean” freestyle below.
