Article By: Ashia Skye
G.O.O.D Music CEO and rapper Pusha-T has had his hands full over the past few months. Between running a record label, dropping a new album, and his beef with Drake, it seems the Virginia native has hardly had a moment to spare. However, this week Pusha-T took time out of his busy schedule to send condolences and well wishes to the victims of the Florida Gaming Tournament mass shooting victims.
On August 26th, in Jacksonville, Florida, gamers from all areas gathered to participate in the Madden Classic Tournament. The participants of the tournament were competing for spot in a Vegas tournament where they could win large cash prizes. As the gamers played, an assailant walked in and open fired on them. Ten people were injured in the shooting, and two were killed.
When news of the shooting hit social media, there was a public outcry of support. Cue Pusha-T. Pusha took to twitter to give his thoughts and condolences to everyone affected by the shooting, as well as acknowledge one of the victims who loved his music. A victim by the name of Timothy Anselimo (aka Larry Legend) was about to go into surgery when Pusha tweeted him. “My prayers go out to all the victims of the shooting at the Madden event in Jacksonville…@oLARRY2K wishing u a speedy recovery, u sent good vibes my way a few days ago now it’s my turn to send them back.”
Check Out Pusha’s words of encouragement below. Also check out Anselimo’s thank you to Pusha-T for his words of encouragement.
