Miami- based rap duo, City Girls, skyrocketed to success in 2018. Their edgy music and their feature on Drake’s number 1 hit “In My Feelings” propelled them to stardom faster than they could imagine. As soon as the success had just begun, the girls faced a major setback. In July, group member JT had to turn herself in to Miami’s Federal Detention Center for fraudulent credit card charges. Her fellow City Girl, Yung Miami has recently taken to social media to update fans on her release.

“JT will be home in December”. Miami tweeted out. JT’s original release date was set for March 21, 2020. The significant time reduction comes as a pleasant surprise to fans, and is certainly a win for the City Girls as a group. Check out the tweet below.
