XXXTentacion Wins Best New Artist At 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards

On Saturday, October 6th, late rapper XXXTentacion was honored at the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards, with the “Best New Artist” award. XXX was nominated in the best new hip hop artist category alongside up-and-comers Blocboy JB, Juice Wrld, Lil Baby, and Rich The Kid. His mom, Cleopatra Benard, accepted the award on her son’s belhalf. Both his manager and lawyer also went on stage to accept the award alongside her. The Hip Hop Awards took place at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach this year. The awards air on October 16th. Check out X’s mom accepting his award in the clip below.
