T.I. Sued By Former Restaurant Employees
Article By: Ashia Skye
The King of the South, T.I., has found himself in legal trouble again. This time, the trouble comes in the form of a fraud charge from some former restaurant employees that used to work at a restaurant called Scales 925, that he opened inĀ Atlanta 2015. The restaurant closed due to a shooting that occured, amoung other issues that arose there.
In February of 2018, T.I. reached a $78,000 settlement with the employees, but they are now claiming that instead of paying them the full amount, the rapper transferred $40,000 of that money to himself and his business partner, instead of them. The lawsuit states that T.I. only gave them a portion of the money, and that they believe they are entitled to that $40,000. There has not yet been a response from T.I. himself on this lawsuit, but updates will be provided once there is. See photos of the restaurant and T.I. posing with some of the restaurant staff below.
