R&B superstar/fashion and makeup mogul Rihanna has just made an exciting new announcement for her annual Diamond Ball.  The Diamond Ball is a fundraising gala intended to raise money for the Clara Lionel Foundation, to improve health, education, arts, and culture globally. As far as her new announcement, Rihanna excitedly took to Twitter to reveal this year’s host and performer.

“So Excited to announce that my sis @IssaRae is hosting this year’s #DiamondBall in exactly one month!! AND @donaldglover is closing out the night with a special performance! SEPT. 13. NYC. Find out how you can attend at 2018diamondball.com”

What better duo to represent arts and cultural advancement than Issa Rae, creator of hit HBO show Insecure, and musician, comedian, and actor Childish Gambino (Donald Glover)? Rihanna shared more of her exciment in a press release about the Diamond Ball.

“Issa Rae and Childish Gambino were the dream duo for the fourth annual Diamond Ball and they’re coming! We are honored and grateful to have them help us celebrate the Clara Lionel Foundation this year.”
