Whitney Houston Biopic Will Release Soon
Whitney Houston’s biopic, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” is set to arrive in theaters soon. The official trailer for the film hit YouTube this week. The 2-minute trailer features Naomi Ackie starring as the late Whitney Houston. Ackie is known for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Master of None. The biopic will be released through Sony Pictures Entertainment in theaters on December 21, 2022. Ashton Sanders will star as Bobby Brown, Stanley Tucci plays Clive Davis, Tamara Tunie will be Cissy Houston, and Nafessa Williams will play the role of Robyn Crawford. Whitney Houston is one of the best-selling artists of all time. She has eleven No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. She has a total of 60 million RIAA units and three of her albums are certified Diamond (10 million units). As an actress, Whitney starred in The Bodyguard, Waiting To Exhale, The Preacher’s Wife, Cinderella, and Sparkle.
