The line-up was reportedly made public before Coachella and The Weeknd completed the deal. The Weeknd threatened to pull out if he wasn’t compensated like Kanye. Allegedly, The Weeknd will make $8 million, plus a $500,000 production fee for his set. The deal is finalized now, as The Weeknd shared the festival flyer on his social media yesterday (April 6).
