The Weeknd Launches XO Humanitarian Fund
The Weeknd launched the XO Humanitarian Fund to fight against world hunger. He is working with the United Nations World Food Programme.
The Weeknd donated $500,000 to the fund and will add $1 for every ticket sold during the North American leg of his After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour. The World Food Programme will also contribute $1 million to the fund. The fund will focus on Ethiopia as The Weeknd is the son of Ethiopian immigrants.
