TDE Punch Says SZA Album Coming Soon
SZA clashed with her label last month over the delayed release of her sophomore album, which now has a release date. She blamed the delays on RCA, as well as Top Dawg Entertainment president, Punch. During an interview with Vulture, Punch said that he and SZA are on the same page and know exactly when the album will be released. “It’s not really a secret. SZA’s coming very, very soon. We pretty much have the album done…We know exactly when it’s coming out,” he said. When asked about his relationship with SZA, Punch admitted there’s some contention but replied that SZA is happy and her narrative creates a situation that’s not really there. The album’s release date has not been officially announced, despite knowing when it will release.
