Rihanna Halftime Show Performance Pays Off
Rihanna has reportedly earned over $350,000 in song royalties after a huge increase in streams following her performance at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show. According to a report from Apple Music, RiRi’s worldwide listeners increased 331% the day after the game. The hour after the performance became her biggest hour with both concurrent listeners and streams. The increase was bigger than all of the artists who performed at last year’s Halftime Show including Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, and Mary J. Blige. A report showed that “We Found Love” had the biggest earnings for Rihanna bringing in over $60,000 in royalties after over 15 million streams. “Umbrella,” “Diamonds,” “Only Girl In The World,” and “Bitch Better Have My Money” followed closely behind.
