New Aaliyah Album, Unstoppable, On The Way
Aaliyah’s uncle and label owner, Barry Hankerson, has announced a posthumous album is coming featuring music Aaliyah never got a chance to release.
Barry Hankerson said during an interview “about five years ago, we realized we had quite a bit of music that we had never put out that was recorded by Aaliyah. The vocals were there, and we decided to try to remaster it and to ask other artists that were big fans of her if they would like to participate in being on various songs.” The album is a fulfillment of a promise he made that they would release all of her music. Many of the songs never made it on her previous projects. The album will include features from artists such as Ne-Yo, Snoop Dogg, Future, Drake and Chris Brown. “Unstoppable” is set to be released this month.
