Diddy Announces First Artist Signed To Love Records
Diddy announced his new R&B label, Love Records, during the hype of hosting the Billboard Music Awards. Love Records will release the first project in a partnership with Motown Records. Diddy announced his first artist will be singer/songwriter, Jozzy. She debuted her new single, “Replay,” at the Billboard Music Awards. Before signing with Love Records, Jozzy made her name writing songs for artists like Mary J. Blige, Pharrell Williams, Lil Nas X, and Summer Walker. She posted her excitement on Twitter, saying, “Damn Puff just gave me the alley.. now the music bout to speak for itself! #songsforwomen.” She also added that her success didn’t come overnight, and she had to figure it out and fail multiple times.
