Beyonce Leads 2023 NAACP Image Award Music Nominations
Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar both released commercially successful albums in 2022 and lead the pack for NAACP Image Awards. They have 5 nominations each. Both are up for Outstanding Album against Ari Lennox, Chris Brown, and PJ Morton. Beyonce is competing for Outstanding Female Artist while Kendrick is up for Outstanding Male Artist. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever achieved 12 nominations in the motion picture categories.
