Quinta Brunson, the creator of Abbott Elementary, took to Twitter to announce the first day of production for the second season. Abbott Elementary is one of the top breakout television shows of 2022. It debuted in December 2021 on ABC. The show earned seven Primetime Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series. Brunson is up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
