Meek Mill is slowly, but surely releasing videos for the songs on his Championships album. On Wednesday Meek followed up his “Intro” video with a touching video for one of the breakout tracks, “Trauma”. In the new visual (directed by Will Ngo) , Meek relives haunting aspects of his childhood trauma.

During the video, we watch Meek witness his mother’s drug addiction, and watch his boys get shot and killed. He also struggles with losing his dad, who was also murdered.

“I just won, I was on a corner with the reefer/And they got us warring for our freedom,” he raps. “See my brother blood on the pavement, How you wake up in the morning feeling evil?/Trauma, When them drugs got a hold of your momma/And the judge got a hold on your father/Go to school, bullet holes in your locker.”
