The Recording Academy have announced the full list of Grammy nominees for the 62nd annual ceremony, with Lizzo leading the pack with more than eight noms, including nods in every major award category. Her third studio album, Cuz I Love You, is also up for one award as Album of the Year. Lizzo’s hit, “Truth Hurts,” is dually up for Record of the Year and Song of the Year as well. Right behind Lizzo is country-trap sensation Lil Nas X who came in with six nominations, including nominations in the four big categories as well, largely thanks to his history-making hit song “Old Town Road.” Lil Nas is also up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance alongside country icon Billy Ray Cyrus.  This is both Lizzo and Lil Nas’ first time as Grammy Award nominees. The 2020 Grammy Awards ceremony, hosted by Alicia Keys, will air on January 26, 2020, on CBS.
