Although its only been a year since Lil Wayne released Tha Carter V , it seems like  a new Wayne project is right around the corner.

Weezy first revealed plans for his Funeral project during a 2016 appearance on The Nine Club podcast that he had a project called Funeral coming out real soon.

“Just make sure they know that Funeral is coming soon,” he said. “That’s my music. Get your roses ready. I don’t have a release date, but I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon. If you’re a Wayne fan, I know we’ve been going through a lot of tough times right now, but if you are a Wayne fan, we about to hold our heads high soon.”

Now Weezy has dropped a cryptic hint on his Instagram story, a coffin emoji, implying that the album release is not far off.
