Wiz Khalifa Onstage Rant Draws Backlash From DJ Community
Wiz Khalifa became frustrated with a pair of DJs during an appearance at Poppy Night Club in Los Angeles. A video clip shows Wiz screaming at them in front of the audience because they were not playing songs from his new album. An irritated Wiz went on a rant and berated the DJs with insults, even offering to fight. Veteran DJs like DJ Rob Swift, of the X-Ecutioners, called out the rapper for his false sense of entitlement. Rob Swift took to Instagram to write, “The arrogance from @wizkhalifa towards the house DJs in this video encapsulates the puffed up sense of importance from a lot of you rappers.” He went on to say that many artists don’t live up to their public persona.
