Will 50 Cent Actually Leave Starz?
50 Cent threatened to leave Starz in a series of Instagram posts after waiting for Power Book IV: Force to be renewed for a second season.
What seemed like a marketing ploy could be the real thing. Reportedly, after threatening to leave the network, other networks started reaching out for 50 Cent’s TV shows. He seemed to be the saving grace of Starz with his “Power” TV series as well as spin-offs, “Ghost,” “Raising Kanan,” and “Force.” Starz is also home to the crime series “BMF.” 50 Cent’s deal with Starz ends in September, so even still, this could be a ploy to get more money from the network.
