Wale Pulls Out Of Broccoli City Festival
Wale announced that he’s no longer performing at the Broccoli City Festival in his hometown and the announcement got a lot of attention on Twitter.
The announcement came after the festival announced their lineup and put Wale in the second tier of artists. When one fan asked why Wale wouldn’t be performing his response was “respect is why.” This led to speculation that Wale was upset about not being a headliner in his own city. He received mixed responses on Twitter with one fan saying his decision to pull out was “childish.” Wale responded “Never said nothin about headlining. U not checkin the facts.” Wale hasn’t clarified why he’s not performing at the moment.
