Vic Mensa To Provide Clean Water To Ghana Communities
Vic Mensa is embracing his Ghanian heritage with plans to help bring clean water to Ghana. He has partnered with his father to build 3 boreholes to provide clean drinking water. Each borehole costs around $45,000. “We’re building 3 boreholes in different communities in Ghana to provide clean drinking water; the first being the Asokore Zongo in Koforidua where my family lives, which is already built,” Mensa said. “The other locations are a nearby community called Effiduase and then our ancestral village in the Volta Region, Amedzofe. Most people in communities like this in Ghana experience constant waterborne diseases.” Vic Mensa will also take part in the Black Star Line Festival along with Chance The Rapper on January 6.
