Tupac Childhood Poetry Up For Auction
Tupac Shakur’s unpublished childhood poetry will auction where it’s expected to make up to $300,000. The book of poetry was written as a gift to Pac’s imprisoned godfather, Jamal Joseph of the Black Panther Party. He wrote the book at 11 years old. The poetry booklet will appear as part of Sotheby’s “The Art and Influence of Hip Hop” collection. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the programs coordinated by Ralph McDaniels for Queen Public Library. Jamal Joseph is also working with Jasmine Guy and Tupac’s estate to release a biopic on Shakur’s mother, Afeni.
