The Grammys To Celebrate 50 Years Of Hip Hop
Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, and others will perform at the 2023 Grammys in honor of Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary. LL Cool J will be both host and performer during the tribute. Questlove will be the producer and musical director for the segment as well as performing alongside his band, The Roots. Other performers include Big Boi, De La Soul, DJ Drama, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Grandmaster Mele Mel & Scorpio/Ethiopian King, Ice-T, Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, The LOX, Method Man, Nelly, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, Rahiem, Rakim, Run-DMC, Salt-N-Pepa and Spinderella, Scarface, Swizz Beatz, and Too Short. Quavo will perform a special tribute to his late nephew, Takeoff. There will also be performances from Mary J. Blige, Bad Bunny, and Lizzo. The 2023 Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 5 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
