T.I. Confirms Chainsmokers Face Punch Story
T.I. confirmed a story from The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggert about punching him in the face after receiving a kiss on the cheek. Taggert told the story via a TikTok post. He apparently met T.I. and said he was “feeling the vibe” too much and kissed him on the cheek, which caused a reaction from the rapper. Taggert immediately took responsibility for being invasive. In the video clip Taggert says, “He was like ‘Don’t do that.” And I was like, ‘OK.’ He pushed me off and I was like, “Alright, my bad.’ And he was like, ‘Alright cool, we’re good.’ It was the weirdest interaction ever.” T.I. took to social media to confirm the story did happen and say he loves The Chainsmokers and is a fan of their music. T.I. mentioned that right after the altercation they went and had a drink and kept the good time going. He also invited The Chainsmokers to come to do an episode of his ExpediTIously podcast.
