Snoop Dogg Will Make Death Row Records An “NFT Label”
During a conversation on Clubhouse, Snoop Dogg announced plans for Death Row Records to become the first “NFT label.”
Snoop said they will be putting artists out through the Metaverse. He wants to be the first major label to take over the Metaverse space. Last week, in addition to releasing his new album (“Bacc on Death Row”) on streaming platforms, Snoop Dogg also partnered with blockchain gaming company, Gala Games to release in NFT form. The songs are released as “Stash Box” NFTs on the Gala Music Store. Each Stash Box will have one of the seventeen records in NFT form.
