Scarface Announces Farewell Tour
Scarface has announced his retirement from rap with a farewell tour. The Houston rapper had a life-threatening battle with COVID-19 in 2020. After that, he went through a year of dialysis after a well-publicized kidney transplant. He is recovering well, but he explained that he felt like he’s done all he could do with rap in over three decades. He wants to experiment with other genres like blues, rock, and alternative music. The tour will kick off on July 8th and will include 32 cities. The tour will include a performance at LL Cool J’s “Rock The Bells Festival” in Queens, NY, on August 6th. Scarface is heavily regarded as one of the pioneers of Southern Hip Hop. He began his legendary career as part of The Geto Boys.
