Rick Ross Buys Meek Mill’s Atlanta Mansion After Two Years on the Market
After spending two years on the market, Meek Mill has finally sold his luxurious eight-bedroom Atlanta mansion to Rick Ross.
Last month, the Dream Chasers Records founder posted a video of his expansive Sandy Springs/Buckhead estate on Instagram, expressing his frustration with the realtor and deciding to advertise the property himself. Interestingly, Meek Mill revealed that he never lived in the mansion despite owning it for several years.
The lavish property, which boasts eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a jacuzzi, sauna, movie theater, outdoor pool, playground, tennis court, and dual garages, quickly found a buyer.
On April 10, Meek Mill tweeted, “I sold that house that quick. It was for sale for like 2 years… I knew it would [sell] as soon as I posted too!”
As it turns out, the buyer was none other than Maybach Music Group (MMG) founder Rick Ross. In a press release, luxury realtor Alisha Gillooly announced that Ross purchased the mansion and now owns it mortgage-free after paying $4.2 million in cash.
Although Meek Mill released his first five labels under Rick Ross’s MMG label, there have been speculations about a falling out between the two. However, just two days after posting his property on social media, Meek Mill and Ross were seen together in the studio. The duo has an upcoming track, which Meek described as “perfect timing.”
