RIAA Announces GloRilla, Muni Long & Others For #RIAAClassOf2022
GloRilla is among ten Hip Hop/R&B artists to be included in the RIAA Class of 2022. The announcement comes from the Recording Industry Association of America in celebration of thirty-nine music acts who received their first certification in 2022. GloRilla got her first RIAA Gold plaque for her single, “Tomorrow 2.” Armani White also received a Gold plaque for “Billie Eilish.” SleazyWorld got a platinum plaque for the hit, “Sleazy Flow.” Muni Long had her breakout single, “Hrs & Hrs” become a Top 20 entry on the Hot 100 chart and scored a Platinum plaque as well. The highest certification went to pop performer GAYLE who achieved a 3x-Platinum award for her top 5 hit, “abcdefu.”
