Quavo During an interview with Elliot Wilson and B. Dot for Rap Radar Podcast, Quavo explained the reason Takeoff was not featured on Migos’ “Bad & Boujee.” In 2017, Takeoff went viral for his response to DJ Akademiks who inquired about his absence. His response, “Do it look like I was left off “Bad & Boujee” caused an array of memes. Quavo explained the song was rushed and they were just trying to put some new music out. The group was going through litigation with their previous label at the time and decided to leak the song on SoundCloud. Quavo said he actually wasn’t supposed to be on the song either, as it was just an Offset and Lil Uzi Vert record. He added his vocals last-minute. “Bad & Boujee” was Migos first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. It was nominated for Best Rap Song at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards and received over 800 million streams on Spotify and over a billion views on YouTube.
