Pusha T Discusses Clipse Reunion, Working With Kanye & Pharrell
Pusha T remains active after the release of It’s Almost Dry earlier this year and is already working on a follow-up album. During an interview with Rolling Stone, he spoke about his upcoming album, working with Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, and possibly reuniting with his brother as the Clipse. Push said it took time for him to adjust to Kanye’s creative process which is different from his own. “I had never worked like that before,” Pusha T said. “Very trial and error – try everything, exhaust all ideas. I think I said something great? He wants to say something greater. And greater might take another two hours, three hours, four hours. When I was writing ‘Runaway,’ I thought my first verse was great. It was my ninth one that was great.” He also spoke about Pharrell Williams saying the producer continues to deliver “levels of greatness.” He revealed that they are working together on his next album. Push also said despite their recent reunion, an official Clipse return is up to his brother, No Malice.
