N.O.R.E. Calls For Rappers To Support Hip Hop Media
N.O.R.E., co-host of Drink Champs, took to Twitter to discuss rappers giving interviews to non-Hip Hop outlets. The rapper/podcaster encouraged artists to stop giving interviews to people outside the culture instead of those representing Hip Hop culture. N.O.R.E. mentioned David Letterman as his favorite but criticized the move to go to him or Ellen before platforms like Million Dollaz Worth of Game, The Joe Budden Podcast, or Drink Champs. Some people began to mention rappers who are on those other platforms. N.O.R.E. said he’s talking about the culture as a whole and not pointing to any rappers in particular. He even included himself in the request. Drink Champs, hosted by N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, has interviewed Havoc, Styles P, The Game, 2 Chainz, Remy Ma, Snoop Dogg, Pusha T, ASAP Rocky, Tank, and others in 2022 alone.
