The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) unveiled the contenders for the 27th Webby Awards, with numerous music stars among the finalists.

Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls earned a nomination for Best Web Personality/Host, Performances & Craft, facing off against Julian Shapiro-Barnum, Marlon Wayans, Trevor Noah, and Jimmy Fallon. The General Video category features Post Malone’s Twelve Carat Toothache Listening Experience, Gap Years, Romeo Santos: King of Bachata, Spotify RADAR Presents: Ayra Starr, and Sublime’s Behind The Cover: 40oz To Freedom.
Twelve Carat Toothache: A VR Experience also secured a nomination for Best Performance, Metaverse & Immersive Features, competing with AmazeVR Megan Thee Stallion VR Concert, Eli Roth’s HAUNTED HOUSE: Trick-VR-Treat, The Notorious B.I.G. Sky’s The Limit: A VR Concert Experience, and Gorillaz Presents. The Music Video category includes nominations for Disturbed’s “Bad Man,” Future’s “Wait For U” featuring Drake, Muse’s “Compliance,” Hot Chip’s “Eleanor,” and Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful (2022 Version).”
Doja Cat, the creator of the Planet Her album, received a nomination for Best Partnership or Collaboration, Advertising Campaign. The contenders for this Webby Award are Doja Cat x Taco Bell: A “Contractual” Partnership, FIFA 23 x TED LASSO, High Valyrian Lessons, The Coors Light, and Mind Ordering.
