Meek Mill Reflects On Earnings From “Expensive Pain” On 1-Year Anniversary
Meek Mill reflected on his latest album, Expensive Pain, on the one-year anniversary and shared details about the finances surrounding it. Expensive Pain was his fifth and final album for Atlantic Records. It featured Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Giggs, and others. The album was the first not to feature MMG boss, Rick Ross. Meek went to Instagram to reflect and explain using the release as a lesson of how not to handle business in the future. “1 year Anniversary to the last album idk how money I made off it or had no control over the overall plan and I only made 13% off it lol,” Meek captioned. “I’ma make 10m + off every album I drop from here on out.” Meek Mill announced in July he was parting ways with Roc Nation Management and formed a partnership with William Morris Endeavor talent agency. Despite not being on the Roc Nation roster, Meek Mill will still have business dealings with Roc Nation and Jay-Z.
