Macklemore & Marshawn Lynch Partner To Become NHL Team Owners
Macklemore and Marshawn Lynch have partnered to become minority owners of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken. The two have become part of the Kraken ownership team toward the end of its first season in the NHL. Macklemore is a Seattle native, while Marshawn Lynch played in Seattle for most of his NFL career. Billionaire David Bonderman owns the ownership group that owns the Seattle Kraken. Lynch posted about his excitement to join as an owner, saying, “I always dreamed of playing on a professional team but owning one is something special.”
