Logic Sells Music Catalog to Influence Media Partners, Expands Creative Impact
Grammy-Nominated Rapper Logic has recently finalized the sale of his music catalog to Influence Media Partners, a deal whose financial details remain undisclosed.
In a press release, it was revealed that the agreement encompasses the publishing rights to Logic’s impressive collection of eight mixtapes and eight studio albums, totaling 185 songs recorded over the span of at least 15 years.
The catalog includes a plethora of chart-topping hits, notably the multi-platinum single “1-800-273-8255” featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid, along with collaborative tracks like “EVERYDAY” with Marshmello, “HOMICIDE” featuring Eminem, and “6 SUCKER FOR PAIN” with Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, Ty Dolla $ign, and X Ambassadors.
Addressing the substantial eight-figure deal, Logic, who has contemplated retirement on multiple occasions in recent years, expressed his sentiments: “Music has always been my creative outlet and a form of therapy. I’ve been deeply moved by the profound connection it has forged with people worldwide. It’s crucial to me that the positive messages conveyed in my music continue to resonate with new audiences. I am thrilled to collaborate with Rene and the team at Influence Media Partners to further impact lives through creativity.”
While Logic has sold his publishing rights, he remains an active force in the industry. The rapper has recently released his eighth studio album, “College Park,” and is preparing for the Logic: The College Park Tour, featuring the esteemed Juicy J as a special guest.
This sale comes in the wake of Logic’s partnership announcement with the BetterHelp organization. As previously reported, Logic and the nonprofit organization aim to provide free therapy services to fans in need, underscoring his commitment to supporting mental health initiatives alongside his music endeavors.
