Lil Mama Thanks Jay-Z & Alicia Keys After Twitter Spaces Talk
Jay-Z & Alicia Keys have both spoke on Lil Mama’s infamous VMA performance crash that happened back in 2009.
Alicia Keys says she was so caught up in the performance and being on point, that she didn’t even realize a person standing next to her. Jay-Z said he completely understood Lil Mama crashing the set. They both forgive her for what happened and neither of them are mad about it as it was a very passionate moment for New Yorkers. The conversation took place on Twitter Spaces. When Lil Mama got word of their forgiveness, she took to Instagram to say, “I appreciate hearing this portion of last [night’s] conversation. This has always been my stance, Love. Love for both my big brother, big sister, and my city. It brings clarity to all of us as a community to actually hear these words from our legendary leaders. Hip Hop has always been a culture to me, not just music.. with that, I believe fellowship is very important to cultural growth.
