Lil Durk’s New Album Will Drop Same Day As Ye
Lil Durk is set to drop his new album, 7220, February 22, 2022 (2/22/22) which will directly compete with Kanye West for Billboard positioning that week.
The move to release the same day is reminiscent of when 50 Cent & Kanye West released the same day in the past. Durk made the announcement via Twitter that he would release “same day as YE 2/22/22” and a post on Instagram that may or may not have been targeted to Ye that captioned “I’m the king of my city they gotta come see me now #1 ….. THE VOICE.” Durk will go on tour to support the album starting Friday, April 8.
