In an upcoming episode of The Shop, Lebron James says he would like to own an NBA team in Las Vegas one day. Lebron’s goal to own a team is part of the plans for his retirement. Recently, Lebron James was announced as the first active NBA player to become a billionaire. In previous interviews, James has stated that he would like to own a team. Last year in a post-game interview he said, “I’ve always said that my goal was to own a team, own an NBA team. I’ve got so much to give to the game. I know what it takes to win at this level. I know talent. I also know how to run a business as well and so that is my goal.”
