Jay-Z Tops Highest-Earning Hip Hop Acts of 2021
According to a list by former Forbes writer Zack O’Malley Greenberg, Jay-Z topped a list of the highest-paid Hip Hop acts in 2021. Known for the popular list in Forbes, Zack O’Malley Greenberg posted the list to his blog, Zogblog. Jay-Z nearly doubled the 2nd place, Kanye West, with around $470 Million. This year, he made significant business moves by selling portions of Tidal and his champagne, Armand de Brignac. These deals bring his net worth to $1.5 Billion. Kanye West is #2 with $250 Million for the year, which came almost entirely from his Yeezy footwear. Others to make the list included Diddy, Drake, Wiz Khalifa, Travis Scott, DJ Khaled, Eminem, J. Cole, and tied for 10th is Birdman, Doja Cat, and Tech N9ne at $25 million apiece. Doja Cat tied for #10 on the list, but she is also the only female to make the list.
