Jay-Z and Damon Dash at “Impasse” Over Reasonable Doubt NFT
Damon Dash and Jay-Z cannot settle their Reasonable Doubt NFT battle. In June of 2021, Dame Dash attempted to sell his rights to the Reasonable Doubt album as an NFT. Jay-Z argued that Dame cannot sell a company asset and that he is only a shareholder in the company. Jay said the company, Roc-A-Fella, Inc., owns and controls “Reasonable Doubt.” According to Jay-Z lawyer Alex Spiro, “RAF, Inc. and Defendant Damon Dash have reached an impasse and are unable, at this time, to reach a stipulation to resolve their claims and counterclaims.” The legal battle will continue next month before a judge in court.
