Hip-Hop’s Golden Jubilee: LL Cool J Leads Star-Studded F.O.R.C.E. Live Arena Tour
LL Cool J has revealed plans for a monumental arena tour, his first in over three decades, in honor of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary.
The tour, titled “F.O.R.C.E. (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) Live,” will showcase a lineup of iconic rap artists, handpicked by the Grammy Award-winning rapper himself.
Produced in collaboration with Rock The Bells and Live Nation Urban, the 24-city tour will feature headliners LL Cool J, The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and DJ Z-Trip. Joining them will be a rotating group of hip-hop legends, such as Salt-N-Pepa, Queen Latifah, Rakim, Common, MC Lyte, Method Man & Redman, Big Boi, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ice T, Juvenile, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, Goodie Mob, Jadakiss, Rick Ross, and more.
LL Cool J announced the tour on Instagram, calling it “not a moment, but a movement.” The F.O.R.C.E. Live tour will commence in Boston on June 25th and conclude in Los Angeles on September 3rd. Pre-sale tickets are available now, with general sales starting on April 31st. The tour will make stops in major cities such as Brooklyn, Toronto, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Denver, Houston, and Las Vegas.
In other news, LL Cool J has hinted at an upcoming album, which will be executive-produced by Q-Tip. He expressed his enthusiasm for the project, describing it as “modern without chasing” and a “whole new thing.” Fans eagerly await its release, as it promises to be another milestone in the celebrated rapper’s career.
