Hip Hop Icon, DJ Kay Slay, Passes From Covid
DJ Kay Slay passed after a four-month battle with COVID-19. The legendary DJ had been hospitalized since January. Many artists and DJs have paid homage on social media as news spread of his passing. Kay Slay started as a graffiti artist in the 1970s. He became a New York legend on the DJ scene. Slay hosted the Street Sweeper mixtape series and released six studio albums. Kay Slay was known for the Drama Hour on Hot 97 and spinning on Sirius XM. RIP DJ Kay Slay, aka The Drama King!
