Hip Hop Film Festival To Take Place In August
The Harlem Film House will present the 7th annual Hip Hop Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York, from August 11 through August 20. The film festival will consist of block parties, rap battles, and more. There will be four days of in-person screenings for the first time since 2019. Warrington Hudlin, founder of the Black Filmmakers Foundation, will receive the G.O.A.T. Award. He produced movies such as House Party, Bebe’s Kids, and Ride, along with his brother Reginald Hudlin. The Hip Hop Film Festival will also premiere, Becoming The Moettes, the first Meta-based television show.
